The Bearer of Good Tidings

Property Managers: So, you can’t get the new paint you wanted, or how about the kitchen appliances, or even chemicals for your pool?  Well, just know that it will get better and supplies will once again get replenished, however, if you need them now, consider these tips:

1)    Aah the beautiful pool, so sparkly and refreshing, but perhaps you are having trouble getting your usual chlorine products. One reason is because of skyrocketed pool sales. To help keep the pool up and running, try other products such as Bromine, or having a Saltwater pool, or using an ozone generator. Of course, do your research regarding the health codes for your region.

2)   Paint Project? Sure, if you are flexible. Some of the most commonly used paints are out of stock due to a shortage of raw materials and the Texas freeze a few months back didn’t help either. Consider an alternative color to use or holding off until after the summer “painting season” demand is over and hopefully then the prices come down and the supply increases.

3)  Appliances – Try to be flexible in the model and color of the appliance, as the manufactures of refrigerators, dishwashers, and oven ranges seem to be having delays in overseas shipping and an unexpected increase in demand, therefore, it might be a bit hard to find what you are looking for. You can try local independent shops to see what supplies they have on hand and you’ll be supporting your local businesses too. If you prefer major chains, try searching online for availability and option in for email alerts for notification of when the item is back in stock.

4)    Water Heaters & Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning aka HVAC, have had a disruption of supplies with the inability to get the raw materials of aluminum, copper, control boards, controls, and motors from overseas as well as manufacturers still catching up after production slowing. Try repairing instead of replacing the unit until supplies are back to normal.

It will some take time and effort but the supply will catch up to the demand soon.
